Following two devastating earthquakes, we Franciscan Friars are on the ground providing food, shelter, and medical care to survivors. Your donation can save lives today.
On Wednesday, June 24, two powerful earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 struck north-central and western Venezuela. The destruction is widespread, leaving a devastating toll of lives lost, injuring hundreds, and forcing thousands of families into extreme vulnerability as homes and basic services collapse.
In the midst of this darkness, we have opened the doors of our friaries in Caracas (Lídica) and Guanare (Portuguesa). We are turning our homes into sanctuaries—providing a hot meal, a safe place to sleep, and comfort to those who have lost everything.

Our focus is on protecting the most fragile survivors: children and the elderly. With electricity knocked out and basic services destroyed, we are facing an acute humanitarian crisis.

Every dollar counts. No amount is too small to bring hope back to Venezuela. 100% of your donation goes directly to the Franciscan Friars Minor Conventual on the ground in Venezuela to provide immediate, lifesaving humanitarian aid. Make a concrete gesture of charity. Donate now. Thank you.
